Avice Chesney Pretty

Avice Chesney Pretty is the Founder and President of Vision Beyond the Eyes Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to connecting underserved individuals and families with essential resources, support, and opportunities for growth. She established the organization with a vision to bridge gaps within communities and create pathways to stability and success.

Avice is a graduate of Fayetteville State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She also serves as a Board Member and Recording Secretary for the Fayetteville State University Charlotte Alumni Chapter, reflecting her ongoing commitment to leadership and community engagement.

She previously served as a Mental Health Director, where she oversaw operations and led a team of more than 60 employees, further strengthening her leadership, organizational, and people management expertise.

With professional experience as a Policy Operations Specialist in the insurance industry, Avice brings strong operational knowledge, attention to detail, and a client-focused approach to her work.

In addition to her nonprofit leadership, Avice is an entrepreneur, author, and owner of Pretty By Design LLC, where she specializes in creative design and branding.

She is passionate about empowering communities, building meaningful partnerships, and creating lasting impact through Vision Beyond the Eyes Inc.
